KangaROOS KangaROOS x Bobby's Gin Ultimate

The KangaROOS x Bobby's Schiedam Dry Gin model is based on ROOS successful silhouette, the Ultimate and comes with 3 different laces with printed tips.

The KangaROOS x Bobby’s Ultimate with its printed insole is handcrafted in Germany in the Hummel & Hummel shoe manufactory.

This trainer is limited to just 350 pieces and has individually stamped serial numbers indicated on the trainer itself with ???/.350.

Bobby's Dry Gin Founders, brothers David Blom & Sebastiaan van Bokkel share their passion not only for good gin tonic but also for fashion and sports shoes. Just like the members of KangaROOS do. So it was that one day David met Rajko from KangaROOS Netherlands and they realised they had a lot in common. They both found out that they share the same roots and history. Both their grandfathers came from Ambon and were soldiers for the Dutch army in Indonesia between '45 and '49.

The shoe is based on different colours, all drawn from the rich history of Bobby's Dry Gin and the Netherlands. Green from the leaves of an orange, the leaves of rosehip, a green hue from the green tree trunk the soldiers had for their possessions when they came from Indonesia. The brown colour reflects the tone of cloves or spices such as pepper, juniper and others. The blue, green and yellow colours also reflect the seals of Bobby's Gin, Bobby's Gin and the latest Bobby's Pinang Raci Gin bottle.
